twocats I still prefer a special thread, similar to the regular recitals. It has much more of an event character. You don't know how the others interpret the piece, until submission date. Beginners like me could be scared off by a good rendition of a better player. In the PW recitals, I was often proud of my work when submitting, but after listening to all the others, I often thought my piece was quite embarrassing. It was good I could not listen to their pieces beforehand, because I wouldn't have submitted then.
Furthermore, I also don't think we are talking about an overwhelming amount of music at all. I am guessing 5 people, if any.
This is my two cents. Still, this decision is up to @navindra, as he is the only one who knows about the pain to do so. (My guess is, that the biggest pain is to go through all the posts and do a quick check if it is all right and then approve the post. Consider 1 minute for each post, this is about half an hour for our last recital. This is some time, could be better invested in something else.) Can this task be outsourced to a mod, or is this admin rights, only?
