ShiroKuro If we combine it with the regular recitals, then the result would look like about 25 submission. 5 of them are the same piece. Randomly spread within the list of participants, unless Navindra make the work and sort them to the front or the back.
If it is for me, I would prefer to have it similar, but separate. As someone who posts already different pieces in PT and PW, I am already busy to get those 2 running. And this happens all within a single month. I would be happy if the "Same piece" recital has another schedule, meaning another month. I would be happy to know the 1st always opens the submissions for any recital and the 15th publishes it. This makes it kind of consistent. All you need to know is what month is for what recital.
rsl already named this thread the "August recital idea....", which makes me not that happy. Meaning 3 pieces for August in total. I would go for the months that are recital-free: 3 6 9 12. And to have more options if we want to cover more different pieces, I suggest 1 3 4 6 7 9 10 12, adding the themed PW recital months.
But in the long run I propose a total schedule reform, meaning to shift the regular PT recitals to one month later, so every month there would be a recital in any of both forums. And in this case, I would propose to have the "Play-the-same" recital every month. Assuming not every genre and piece is for everyone, the group would be quite small. Having the option of 12 different pieces over a whole year gives a lot of people the chance to pick something - not everyone plays every genre and not every piece is for everyone.
