Sam your music room is amazing! I'm quite jealous. Thanks for introducing me to such a charming piece! I took a listen to the variations. They are so cheerful!
MarieJ What did you layer together? The only voice that I recognize is what Yamaha calls a Suitcase Piano. If it's more than one voice, then the effect is subtle. Whatever you did, it was a good match for your piece.
BicBic I love this! It's the most interesting Philip Glass solo piano work I've heard. The bass and rhythm are a little more involved than what I normally expect from him. But I guess that's why it's an etude! I too find playing his pieces meditative. It's a different but complementary experience to listening.
lilypad short and sweet. I could not tell where the misplaced ripples were!
Sgisela you always pick the most interesting pieces! I love the use of Phrygian in the composition. It already sounds epic.
ShiroKuro Glad you were able to submit something in time. It's an interesting arrangement and it took me a little by surprise when I heard the syncopation! It sounds well practiced and relaxed.
