Thanks @Gooseberry ! I really like the idea of "komorebi". I'll keep that in mind as a title to use if I play another improvisation that seems to fit.

This piece sounded very complex to me, but your playing seemed effortless and your hands looked very elegant. You are clearly a very skilful player.

This performance really showed your talent and there was no chance of noticing the injured nail as your hands flew over the keys so rapidly. Great job!

I loved this piece - it seems far too good for a video game, it belongs in the music score for a big budget romantic film! You played this beautifully and my only criticism is that it was over too soon!

This piece is right up my street and you played it beautifully. The title matches the character of the music perfectly and your name is also very apt for this piece - it implies that you spend a lot of time on a lake, enjoying the reflections of the sun on the rippling water. The only thing missing was an image of one of Claude Monet's lily paintings! 🙂

plop_symphony Very nice Plop! Well played, very delicate. I also loved the description. I purchased the game a few years ago in a bargain basement sale, but never actually got around to playing it. Now I feel like dusting it off and playing it. No one can say piano doesn't widen our horizon in other areas as well 🙂

lilypad Excellent timing and rhythm, and so smooth, it just flows. Ok, ripples 😃 Like swans creating little ripples while they drift by on our nearby lake (which in Canadian standards is not too far from Vancouver) 😃

Sophia Thanks. I took a few month-long breaks to keep it fresh, but working time was probably around half a year.

Javier Welcome to the recitals Javier! And what an intro: you played one of my all time favourite pieces! I kept hearing the other voices in my head. Very nicely played, I kept thinking WHAT turning of the page? It was quite seamless and smooth, let me assure you!

Sophia Thank you Sophia for your warm welcome. I've played in the past other arrangements of the piece. This one, has been my favorite lately. Bach's Cantatas transcriptions for the piano are quite beautiful, I might consider playing another one for the next recital.

I can only guess.... 🙂 I really enjoy your very delicate touch and gentle playing. That's something I really need to work on, because compared to you I sound like a drum major 😃

I always forget you are a fellow learner with not that much of experience, because this one sounds like someone playing for much longer. Very clean and very well played. Only the ending came too early. Would have loved if this one went on a bit longer.
