Player1 Nicely done for a "raw" performance. Regardless of anything you might want to clean up in the execution, it's clear you have the music in you, if that makes sense.

With my headphones on while listening to you play, I went to look at the birds fluttering around the bird feeder in the garden. The snow was falling slowly, the birds were flying to and fro around the feeder, pecking at the seeds and apples, and your music made a perfect soundtrack! Thank you

hebele Great job! Those trills could definitely use some work. For example, the one in measure 3 causes you to be late to measure 4, and the one in measure 5 should strictly speaking be C-B-C rather than C-D-C. But trills and other ornaments really are a struggle. That being said, whether and how often to use them was at the discretion of the performer, and there are no baroque police who will arrest you for altering or omitting ornaments altogether.
Also, the top G note should be brought out more in the last chord as it concludes the main melody.
Pathbreaker So hauntingly beautiful! I'm not familiar at all with Brahms's piano oeuvre, but if they're all as rich as this I should seek it out.
Nightowl I think that's perfectly normal for someone after even 14 years of playing, haha. Transitions are a huge issue for me with whatever piece I'm learning too, so much so that when I isolate passages to iron them out, I include the transitions in and out of those passages to make sure that those are smooth, too.
WieWaldi Funnily enough, I only realized this piece had a swing rhythm when you pointed it out... It's notated in 9/8, so I hadn't really made the connection with swing rhythm.
Gooseberry growing up, I did not listen to any western music. It was not part of the culture. And here I am discovering The Moody Blues. Thanks for sharing. I quite like your interpretation here, smooth and relaxing.

Greta99 thanks for sharing this composer. I immediately thought she must had an impressive life to get recognition in late romantic era. According to Wikipedia, Saint-Saens exclaimed "I never imagined a woman could write such music!". The piece itself was well played and quite pleasant to listen to, which I did a few times. Thanks.

Don't feel too bad for her! I showed her the video. Her response: "I've heard you sing better than that!" Halfway through, she said, "I've heard enough" and walked away. She didn't even pay!
Nightowl I've no idea how you managed to piece together your separate performances in such a seamless manner - your technical skills are as impressive as your piano playing! I love the innovation you bring to recitals, we never know what you'll do next, but it's always enjoyable.

I often like compositions that are born of out improv, the way you've done it. It retains that living feeling that improv gives. Love your work with the percussion. That stuff is totally out of my wheelhouse, and I enjoyed hearing it. It really creates a mood!
