Okay in spirit of accomplishments... I finally decided to record something, anything, for the first time ever! There is, somewhere in the ether, a recording of me playing at a holiday concert about 5 years ago, but that was for a Christmas service.
As far as me recording myself, this would be the first, and I posted it in our (Piano Tell) Holiday themed Recital.
It was a learning experience to get out of my element, as my "niche" is to show up at a random piano; play random tunes that randomly pop in my head extemporaneously. Thus, recording myself requires me to be more restrained, and as a result, more mistakes.
But that's totally okay. I'm doing this for fun, anyhow.
So there you go! Over are the days of, "I'll never record myself"
