I agree there is a place for PT-related updates. Though it may not be the busiest subforum, it’s an important one. On PW, we couldn’t create new sub forums or “universal” messages such as spam/phishing warnings, so we had to go into each subforum manually and create a new sticky, we definitely missed a few.
This subforum could be a home for the many things we’re already seeing:
-site/hosting updates
-upcoming maintenance/downtime
-attack/malware warnings
-updated policies/rules/terms
-mod changes
-feature requests
-new feature announcements
-new subforum discussions, renaming
-site milestone announcements
-anything about the site that should be broader than just a specific subforum.
Etc. It seems handy to have a place for these things.
