OT: “pianist” Francesca Bridgerton

Is anyone watching Bridgerton season three? Let’s make sure not to post any spoilers in this thread!! Or else to figure out how to hide them…

Anyway, the character Francesca has become quite the pianist. It’s not the main part of the storyline (unfortunately) but it’s nice to see how that aspect unfolds on the story.

Maybe if anyone (everyone?) posting in this thread has watched up through episode four, we can write about it….

Josephine I have seen season 1 and 2,but I didn't watch the queen Charlotte series. Do you have to watch it to understand season 3?

Nope, you don't need to watch the Queen Charlotte one to be able to follow season 3. But that one is good too.... it's kind of hard to watch, IMO, in that it's distressing in some ways that the regular shows are not. Just my opinion anyway.

You could easily watch Season 3 and then watch Queen Charlotte afterwards. If you are a casual viewer, just watch season 3. If you're a big fan, watch Queen Charlotte (before or after season 3)

Again, just my opinion! 🙂

Josephine you don't have to have watched any of the series to watch any of the others 🙂

The Queen Charlotte one is great and very worth watching though. That one and Season 3 are my favorites.

Pallas must mention that wig in Season 3. You'll know when you see it 😂

Oh wow, really? I mean, that it was authentic, just a few years off. I sort of wondered if it was an exaggeration or not.

You gotta love all the totally over the top costumes etc! ETA: esp Cresseda's shoulder/sleeve thingies!!!

My Mr. is actually the primary audience for Bridgerton, but I enjoy it too. We have our separate shows and our together shows, and I like it that way! Viva la difference! (I like only about 50% of his superhero shows, but all of the historical dramas. He'll watch most of my weird shows like Outer Range and Twin Peaks, but excuses himself for the bleak Scandi murder shows. Disney is 110% overlap!)

We do, too! I watch the silly fluffy stuff and also the really dark stuff and science fiction/fantasy. He likes more light-hearted shows or spy thrillers.

If we find something we both want to watch it has to go on a special list 😂

Maybe 'Kleo' is a good together series for you, it's dark, weird, funny, and also a spy thriller. It's German. German series are often a bit weird.
