I don't see any problem having the PianoTell recitals at the same time, with people entering whichever ones they want, or both, and people commenting on either or both forums. It'll be weird maybe the first time, but as it goes along, things will shake out however they do. Some of us are treating PianoTell like an extension of PW and some aren't, and that's up to personal choice. If you want the whole picture, you can check both, and if you're only interested in what one set of people says, you can focus there.
I personally like it here, and I focus on being here and talking about what's going on here. I prefer not to discuss what's happening over there when I'm here. If I want to discuss Over There stuff, I'll go over there to do it. I don't think it's difficult or complicated. It's simple to create bookmarks in your browser, and click around all of the piano forums any time.
The most concerning question, for me, is how to best offer respect to the people like @Sam who have been at this for a long time, and make lots of room for discussion about concerns. I've said all of the above, because that's my personal approach to being online, but I truly care about everyone's feelings, thoughts, and needs, so if anyone disagrees with what I've written and has other ideas that would work better for everyone, I'm always eager to consider other perspectives, and consider changing my mind. I change my mind all the time. No biggie.
My requests and opinions are never demands, and I look forward to seeing how things shake out. I've been on vacation, so not saying much, but I'm still reading, and I'll be happy to participate in a PianoTell recital.
