Sophia This was a very smooth LH, lovely pedaled. And those memories came up, seeing you playing those beautiful licks. Just wonderful performed. I know how hard it was for me, learning this stuff with the traditional chord LH. IMO, so much harder than just using a simple pattern that is repeating every (half) bar.
Loved the trill at 1:18, very good control 👏.
About your improvising

You did it! And it was was way more than I excpected it could be. And it was good, it was amazing - not just random licks. No, you can use it as a refrain, or as a piece of its own. It had quite a nice dress and everything fitted together really well. I am really impressed - no wonder this one took you a bit more time. Did you more like compose it and then practice until it sits - or was that really free improvisation?

When you announced this
Sophia Some of my attempts sound like
How did you know, this happens?
(I was really thinking, you were not happy with your own licks, but I never expected you'd be clairvoyant) 😆😆😆
The only thing - the ending. This is something you really should re-visit. Maybe not during the next lesson (Fever has no room for a standard ending; especially if you play with the backing track) - but on a later lesson. You know, the most important parts are
- the beginning - this is the first impression
- the smile on the face after a mistake - this is what makes the audience think, you are creative
- the ending - this is what the audience remembers
Again: big kudos for doing improv - especially with this LH. I never dared to do. I still think it is way easier with a simple LH pattern, that is baked in.
