Hello from Seeker. Yes, I was on PW. Glad to see this new platform, and thank you, Navindra, for all that you are doing and have done!
I've been recovering from a hospitalization for a bowel obstruction (yuk and ouch) and a bleeding ulcer which I didn't know I had until I had a CT scan in the ER. Ten days in the hospital... rough, but out and recovering fully. I've restarted playing the piano and will be releasing a new series of #respite like things as I focus on playing in a deeper way than I have ever had the opportunity to do before.
First piece to relearn and rework has been Ponce's Intermezzo. I recorded it yesterday, will record again before public sharing. Very significant, at least for me, because it is the first time in more than 10 years that I have played a piece entirely from memory. It's proof for me, and others, that even for those in their mid-70s as I, neuroplasticity is still available.
