Boy, I have two versions of this: one from Alexis Ffrench: The Sheet Music Collection and one bought as an individual piece, and neither has an suggestions for fingering anywhere. Thanks for nothing! 😃
I'm also noticing Mr. Ffrench's own note (in the book): "Use the sustain pedal throughout to create a richness of sonority but avoid clashing harmonies." But there are tons of scalar lines, I don't see how you avoid some clashing while using the pedal for more than a beat ... or less! But it also seems to me that a bit of clashing in this sort of tune is part of the sound, so I don't want to go overboard on pedaling (and make the fingering even more difficult).
I can see why this is a grade 6 piece!
