hebele Minuet in G by Christian Petzold.

You saved my day - at least ONE played a beginner Minuet. Thank you. Joking aside, this one was very solid. I don't know if playing those thrills that early is wasting time or not, but let's face it: One day you must learn them. Later this will take less time for sure, but this is the case with everything. Actually, I am happy you played the trills, as they sound georgeous. The entire piece sounds georgeous. Big respect to a 1yr self learner!

rogerch You are just bursting with music aren't you? You just play one wonderful improv after another. This is a great one.

Nightowl Well done. (I'd love to hear the lyrics) πŸ™‚

Animisha A really pretty piece. Well done!! Great sound too. (the plants in front were a nice touch).

keff Nicely played. I really like the arrangement.

keff That was a haunting version of an old favourite. Bravo!

It took me back to a visit to the UK in 2019, when I played it on a pub piano in Oxfordshire.
The pub was is a place called Summertown, so the locals had adopted it as their theme tune.πŸ™‚
It was great hearing them sing " Summertown"!

@rogerch I always enjoy your improvisations, and this one was no exception!
It is always exciting to sit down to play, and hear your own music for the very first time.
I liked this one very much.

@Peyton Brilliant! It had a kind of East meets West vibe for me. You were really getting into it, and that came out in the performance. There is a great feeling of motion. i could hear this in a movie.

Rob We know Summertown quite well.

keff Wow! so, do you know the Dew Drop Inn?

            Greta99 Berceuse, Op. 23 No. 1
This piece has the sound of a fairy tale, and you tell it beautifully!

Peyton Thank you. I like many of Brent Edstrom's arrangements.

WieWaldi Thank you for the kind words. The mistakes I made were rhythm rather than notes.

              hebele Thank you

              Nightowl Thank you.

              bSharp - Open Arms
I didn’t know this song, and now thanks to you I’ve listened to Journey’s performance and to your interpretation of it, which I like even better than the original πŸ™‚ Great playing, very dramatic!

Sgisela - Danza de los ñÑñigos
That was wonderful! Your bashful smile at the end of the performance says that you are too modest – you deserve a big, proud smile, as you played this difficult piece remarkably well, keeping the lovely swaying rhythm throughout. πŸ‘

Sophia Ha ha!!! that was really fun (and oh so different for the recitals). I saw "special guest star" and had no idea.

rach3master Wow, that is really beautiful and your recording is excellent!! (I'd say one of the best recordings of an acoustic i've heard in a long time). Some folks here have mentioned "the bar"... well I think you have made it out of reach. Just increadable playing.

              BicBic - Mazurka Op.6 No.2
It’s true that Chopin often used Polish folk music motifs, especially in his mazurkas, and though he opposed to β€œunnecessary embellishments”, the β€œend product” is neither simple, nor easy to play well, far from it. But I think that you acquit yourself admirably in this performance, preserving the singing character of the piece. Very nicely played!
