Great improv skills there. Always amazing to listen to. I don't understand how people do it πŸ™‚

    SalmonJack β€” Just Mist
A clever composition, played very well. You are very skilled.

What a beautiful composition - this is my kind of music! Pensive and gentle, very relaxing, you have an abundance of talent.
    BicBic β€” Mazurka Op.6 No.2
This surprised me - Chopin is not known for cheerful pieces! Good choice, well played.

Player1 Thanks P1! πŸ™‚ Your comment really cheered me up, because I only notice the negative things (hesitations, tense hands) when I watch my own videos.

hebele Thanks, I'm plodding along, my progress is slow but steady. Yes, this is from Alfred's AIO Level 2. There are some nice pieces in the book, but also a few that I think of as musical abominations (although maybe some folk like them).

Thanks @Peyton. There are several different versions of the song, but here's a link to an early recording, so you can listen to the lyrics:

rogerch Nice playing! I like the way you keep the piece grounded with the nice steady bass, and the way you bring out the melody on top. The ending is very tastefully done. I enjoyed listening!

Thanks! It's true that the ending is the best part of my video! πŸ™ƒ 😁

BicBic Mazurka Op.6 No.2 by Chopin

You played this surprisingly lighthearted tune very effortlessly. Thanks for sharing, it was a pleasure listening it.

Sgisela Danza de los ñÑñigos, Ernesto Lecuona

This piece seems quite difficult to me. Nevertheless you mastered it. I did pay attention, if I could pick up the broken 9th, but I couldn't. You camouflaged them well. At least well for a non-trained listener like me. Kudos to your playing skills, it was a pleasure to listen.

Gooseberry Nights in White Satin by The Moody Blues

This was played very delicate and absolutely flawless, too. The balance between both hands is also absolutely top notch, I adore the soft LH and the RH playing a brilliant melody line. Thank you for sharing, it put me in a relaxed mood while listening. Very enjoyable.

bSharp Journey - Open Arms - Arranged by Dan Coates

I don't remember many transcriptions of rock bands in the recitals, I remember someone playing Rocket Man by Sir Elton John. Often I have the impression this genre (together with pop) is regarded to be inferior to classical piano music. You proved this prejudice is wrong. This arrangement of this rock ballad is just wonderful and so is your interpretation. I really enjoyed listening to it. Actually, I enjoyed both times of listening.

Greta99 "Berceuse", Op. 23 No. 1 by Mel Bonis

It is not just Mel Bonis who was very prolific (had look up this vocable), you are as well. And everytime I listen to one of your soundcloud tracks, you play it so well. This wonderful piece is no exception. It was a pleasure to listen to. Kudos to your playing abilities and Hut ab!

        hebele β€” Minuet in G
That was very well played. Congratulations on reaching that milestone, and with flying colours!

        ShiroKuro Wind by Brian Crain

Wow - this is one of pieces touching my heart. I am glad you made it into the recital short before deadline. This was really wonderful to listen to. From the very first note to the last one. Thank you for sharing.

I don’t have any constructive technical feedback to offer, so I will only say thank you for playing, I really enjoyed listening.

It was great to see you play again, and I hope you will soon be able to come back to the piano.

Wow, that was a real surprise, and a very nice one. You make a terrific duet! Can you hear how the audience is shouting for an encore?!

Kudoz to the very talented student and the very competent teacher! I’m amazed how much you have been able to achieve, technique-wise, in such a short time. Hats off!
