Hi, thank you, Navindra for creating this site. Looking forward to having good discussions with y'all.

Is this where we introduce ourselves? I'm a long-time PW member. Began lurking in 2005, joined in 2007 and posted a fair bit until around 2019 when I felt I'd said all I had to say (and probably a few things I shouldn't have said...) 😃 However, I was still reading the posts at PW regularly (Pianists Corner & Teachers mostly) until the ADS got to me. Some of my favourite posters have migrated here, which is nice, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops. BTW, I too like the names Learners Lounge and Pianist Zone - both have a comfy, welcoming vibe.
And could I please have a nice little star?? 🙂

    KevinM Wow! What an unexpected and most welcome surprise!

    I definitely noticed your abrupt absence and even went back to check your Vimeo channel a few times. I'm so happy to see that you're back and everything's ok! I'm really looking forward to what you come up with next on the piano. 🙂

    @Killomiter @MandM Welcome! 🙂

    Greetings from the UK! Bit of a junior PW member at only 298 posts, but fast approaching 35 years in the trade (mainly rebuilding). Hope to be of assistance in due course...! 😊

    KevinM Hello KevinM and welcome. I believe that you posted in PW whilst living in the good old city of Sheffield, my alma mater.

      Thanks for setting up the site and being so open to suggestions for improvements, Navindra, I appreciate the work you put in. I love the new "Learners Lounge" title, it is an all encompassing phrase which trips off the tongue nicely and somehow has much more pleasant connotations than anything involving the word "beginners".

      "Don't let's ask for the moon, we have the stars." (Final line from Now,Voyager, 1942)

      keff I did yes. I'm now in Penarth just outside of Cardiff in South Wales.

      I'm glad you're alive, KevinM!

      Thanks navindra for creating this forum. 😃

        navindra Thank you for starting the new forum, it is exciting! Can you please tell me how to add an emoji? When I click on the smiley face below, I get a popup with letters and the words "regional indicator". Sorry I am not very much of a techie.....

          Thank you for all of your efforts in organizing this forum! I'm sorry if this has been asked previously, but I notice there are sometimes very long topics that might usefully be broken up into multiple pages rather than a single long scroll. Is it possible to set things up this way, either server or client side? I'm using an Android phone.

            pseudonym58 sorry, I'm not the right person to ask! But I think modern forums may just be built this way.

            I think you meant to address to @navindra?
