Like Animisha, I really like the Bechstein and not so much any of the others, though the new Bose has potential…

Instruments: Bechstein, and Electric Pianos
Customization: velocity curve, effects (minimize), pedal noice (minimize)
Besides the Bechstein, I like Pianoteq’s EPs quite a bit — “playability” plus sound quality has made this a real winner for me. In particular, Pianoteq has given the RD 700nx new/extended life, I’m in less of a rush to replace it with a newer/better action. And while I like the Studiologic for its portability and usability, the sounds, especially the acoustic pianos, leave me wanting — I can’t get comfortable with its velocity response, and the low-velocity piano sounds are weak. Pianoteq makes both keyboards much much better for me.
The MIDI recording feature has proven quite useful, e.g. for capturing a take to share with my teacher or for a recital submission. I also like using Binaural for practicing, but use Stereophonic for performance.
I’d love to see the MIDI recording enhanced to make saving/organizing/finding previous recordings a bit easier. Also, it would be helpful if breaks between playing (i.e. periods of silence) were automatically marked, making it easier to find the endpoints of a performance to extract and save.
