@ShiroKuro , the piano has been quite enjoyable, slightly out of tune currently though, need to get it tuned soon.
rsl12 Singing it to myself, it seems like it should work! Where did it give you trouble?
With 5/8 time, I was able to play right through it , a note for beat replacement .. but the beauty is in the lilts and the pauses .. I couldnāt find any places to insert them without going off beat and reverting to 6/8 or 4/4 time in my mind.
Iāve been asked to scribe the full music by my teacher , itāll probably take some time (Iāve not really scribed music, more than a couple of measures). During that exercise Iāll experiment with 5/8 perhaps , trying to introduce pauses to see what happens (with a computer doing the playback).

I practiced it for maybe a week and then after that, I only played it a few times
I have a policy, life is too short to bother learning any pieces I seriously dislike (unless its a requirement for school/degree etc.). I wouldnāt be too hard on yourself for making, IMO, a wise decision .
