I'm glad you had a chance to record this before your live performance... how did it go?
In the past, I used to perform then record, and usually the recording ended up better than the performance. These days I'm recording first then performing, and it appears to me the results have been inverted — my recordings have suffered, but I'm doing better during the live performance.
