navindra This works the same way as the curves built into Pianoteq, for example. However, there, curves can only be formed using straight lines. To achieve a smooth curve, you need to set all 127 points—one point for each MIDI velocity step. And, in this case, if you want to slightly bend an existing curve, you need to move all 127 values on the curve. Here, the curve is a Bezier curve (if you have encountered editing curves in vector graphics editors, then this will be intuitive), which can be very easily bent and at the same time it remains smooth without corners.
If your keyboard requires, for example, a reduction in MIDI velocity for the strongest/fastest keystrokes, then this plugin can be used to do this quite accurately. Or, for example, making the keyboard feel lighter or heavier, or making the transition from low to high velocities more contrasting.
- Modifications for high-resolution MIDI are supported.
For me, this is more of an experiment.
