@iternabe I'll be interested to hear your version of HN and find out how it differs from the one in my Alfred's book.

I'm not sure whether I'll submit anything this time, I have a couple of things I'm working on but somehow they are not coming together yet. Anyway, it's just a hobby so I'm not fretting about it, especially as I took part in the AL recital and that was an "extra" thing for me.

My 'new' Piano is being delivered on the 12th, so I want to use that.

I’ll be playing the first movement of Beethoven’s Sonata 30 for this recital (same as Schubertian last recital, I swear I’m not copying 😅).

I can’t submit quite yet though, as I’ve been away from my piano for the last few days and won’t be back to it until Wednesday. Especially unfortunate since I have a competition on Saturday.

It's been quite the weekend with the red button gremlins conspiring against me. If I didn't give it away already, I chose a song this time, making my life twice as hard, aside of the gremlins. I don't know if I have a usable take for the recital, sadly I was not 100%, and I'm just starting to understand what I want to do with this piece musically. Most likely I'll redo it post-recital.

Ok folks, there are just a few days left before the recital goes live on Saturday. I hope those performances are still coming! 😬

I appreciate this sentiment, and the encouraging words. I’m only a few months into learning the piano. I hope to participate in the next recital . Hopefully by then I’ll have a bit more experience under my belt.
