ShiroKuro I’ve never used Clipchamp, but I was just looking at it recently to see if I could extract audio from a video — I couldn’t.
That's actually pretty easy! If you're looking to make an audio file out of a video file, open a new video project, put the video in the timeline, and then Export / Audio Only. If you're looking to detach the audio into the timeline, there's a button for that in the right sidebar, under audio, once you add the video to the timeline.
Actually, I don't expect to have a more complicated video project in the near future than the duet I just completed, so I'll probably stick with clipchamp for now.
