ShiroKuro Separate from all that, can we just complain about how iPhone recordings flatten everything?
I wonder if the problem can be solved by using an external microphone with your iPhone. There seems to be many options on the market. They are quite small and not cumbersome to use at all. I am under the impression that iPhone does not apply auto-leveling to external microphones, therefore the full dynamics should be captured.
Oh, you might also be able to hook up your Zoom recorder to the iPhone with a cable, and it will work just as an external mic.
Also, if the built-in camera app does not work with external mic, I recommend using a third party video camera app called βBlackmagic Cameraβ. Blackmagic is an industry leader in pro video hardware and software. The app is pretty awesome.
