TC3 How would we decide on a tune? Suggestions followed by a poll?
If the group is small (less than 5 people), maybe informal discussion is all that's necessary. If more people get involved, I'll see about setting up a poll. If I remember right, @navindra hasn't set up the Flarum polling feature yet.

I like the idea! Since we are at pianotell, how about telletunies? 
Sophia I think perhaps it would be a nice idea to organize it separate from the regular recitals? I like that format very much and I think it would be unfair to potentially form a sort of "clique" within those.
I'm not worried about a clique, but I can understand people wanting it to be separate. My other thought was to run it like the Holiday recital, with a due date at the end of June. That way it fits neatly between the May and August recital.
TC3 Maybe the very first one should be a good old-fashioned 12-bar blues in C with a simple head / melody?
Yes, that's the sort of thing I was thinking of. Key isn't that important since people can transpose, but for beginners it might be nice to have lead sheets/sheet music in a simple key.

That would be great! I've never heard you play anything but classical. I'm hoping eventually there are enough classical players that we can do something for that as well.
