PianoTell was created and announced exactly 1 year ago on May the Fourth!
PianoTell is a new addition to the world of piano forums. Its purpose is to support the community in all things piano, while maintaining a friendly and helpful atmosphere for discussions. PianoTell is self-funded, free of advertisements, free of charge, and open to all. Please feel free to participate and contribute!
PianoTell was created with the best of intentions, and though the launch was rockier than I would have liked, today, I'm extremely grateful to be a part of this community. Thank you to the @Mods for all the work that you do here!
I'm happy to say that PianoTell hosting has remained stable and cost-efficient. We launched in a world where the cost of a Matcha Latte was enough to fund PianoTell for 1 month, but if anything, the cost of a Matcha Latte in Venti size plus tip is now enough to fund PianoTell for 2 months. 🍵
While today's implementation is definitely not perfect, things can and will continue to evolve. 🛠️
One thing I couldn't solve by myself is our poor ranking situation on Google, so PianoTell mostly grows via word of mouth today — help spread the word! 📣
How else can you support PianoTell? How about participating in the recitals!
Recital #4 is now open for submissions and goes live on May 15th. I can't think of a better way to celebrate PianoTell's first birthday! 🎈
