I'm trying to figure out how to play the left hand eighth note figures between measures 121 and 128. I'm having a hard time with the fingering as indicated. It may just be a limitation of my technique. The tempo is dotted half = 80.
Another possibility is 2&4 alternating with thumb. But that would involve leaving out the second beat in measures 122, 124, etc. (which is okay, if that's the best option).
Thanks for any suggestions.

Not sure if it will work because I can't test it on a piano now, but in the measure 121 8th notes how about LH 12 on the chord followed by RH 121 on the three remaining 8th notes. Then on the right hand chord starting in the next measure use 35 or 12?

pianoloverus Okay, thanks, later today I'll see if there's any way I can split it differently between the right and left hands.

pianoloverus I think I hit upon a solution. I'm not going to play any "double stops" in the left hand throughout that passage, only the upper notes. Since each lower note is heard directly previously, or is concurrently doubled in the right hand, they can be omitted without changing the perception of the chord. This being my arrangement of wind ensemble music, I don't think I'll change the printed edition, though, as I imagine that most reasonably competent pianists can actually play what's written.
