How gorgeous!
I still regret that we never made it there when I still lived in the SE, and now it’s too far away.

More to the point, I want the score for that piece that’s playing in the background!! It says it’s Andrea Vanzo, and I thought it sounded familiar, the title is “Amelie X Soulmate” so I assume it’s music form Amelie (which includes the famous Comptine Des Un Autre Ete, if that’s the title my French is not so good)…
Doesn’t look like he has the sheets for that…. Maybe I’ll email him.
Hmm, I found a score with this title, not sure if it’s exactly the same versions but I’ll buy it bc I can’t play it by ear
Here is his original composition, Soulmate, which is obviously part of the mashup:
@brdwyguy sorry for the thread drift in your thread about the new Freeburg store!!
I went to the showroom today, wow the pianos sound wonderful in that space.
They got in a Schulze Pollmann, had never heard of this brand - it's from Italy.
It has a sound similar to a Fazioli but the piano was just in and only tuned.
It needs some voicing and key regulation as it seems a bit stiff from what I am used to.

It's quite a nice piano, if anyone is looking for a piano you should check it out because I venture
to say it will not last long at the price they are asking ($30k) 6'6".

Oooh that's pretty!!! I've heard of that brand, but never heard it.
ShiroKuro They have
Mason & Hamlin's
Kawai's
Shigero Kawai's
Used Steinway's
Some Baldwin's
Perzina's
and a few others, check out their website:

brdwyguy they have a rather bright sound.
Interesting!
I've never played any SK Kawais, only the GX and GL models. Some day...
Also a Bosie and a Fazioli... and an Estonia.... all the pianos we hear about on these sites, but I've never played myself.
I have heard a Fazioli live, it sounded absolutely wonderful!
ShiroKuro
I played a Fazioli and my favorite of all time, C Bechstein (side by side)
both were like playing Velvet with Diamonds
Thanks to Faust/Harrison in NYC & Cunninghams in Phila I played
Bosie's, Fazioli, C Bechstein, Steinway's
all I need to add is a Bluthner - it's the only biggie I haven't played!
