I'm in!
Happy New Year all.
I'm in as well. Thanks @Sophia
More than happy to add you to the list, @Gooseberry
Welcome to PACT, Animisha - you're added as well
Thank you for adding me @Sophia !
My PACT goal for 2025: to average 5 days/week across the whole year. My stretch goal is to average more than 6 days/week. The only times I "excuse" myself are when I'm traveling for business. (in 2024, my yearly average was about 5 days/week, but my average was higher for the second half, when PACT started, so that's what I'm aiming for)
As I mentioned in the other thread, I'm not good at keeping up with these big threads, but I will be recording my practice days as I did in 2024 and I'll try to check in here periodically!
I'm in for 2025!
"Into each life some rain must fall", and we've been in a bit of a family rough spot this past week. I haven't been playing since Friday the 17th will add my absence to the E-list. I will put the end date on today, because I'm fully planning to be back at the piano tomorrow... if not, I'll extend the time
First time on the E-list and the first one to be added in 2025!
I would like to be preliminarily excused for the weekend of Friday 24th to Sunday 26th. On Saturday my husband will give a big party and he will cook all the food, except for the cake that I will bake on Friday. There have been some setbacks in his planning and I want to be fully available for him, so I can help him in any way he needs. On Sunday, I may be wiped out completely.

I have added those dates to the E-list @Animisha - big parties sound good
I went back to playing yesterday, just for a few minutes and it felt like I hadn't played for six years instead of six days - everything I ever knew was gone! So I got my Alfred book 1 out and just started with the easiest pieces again.
I'm sure it will Our life has been in some turmoil lately which doesn't help, but things are settling down for the time being. Watch out forum, I'm back and ready to
roar play again!
I'd like to join the challenge. Normally, I don't mind missing a day or two. However, last year I found it very difficult to practise regularly. PACT definitely helped me to play every day, even if it was often only very short practice sessions.

I enjoyed your 40 piece challenge recordings on PW. Please consider joining our version of the same challenge here:

Animisha except for the cake that I will bake on Friday.
I would rather practise Hanon for a month than baking cakes! I almost managed to ruin the entire cake by forgetting the crรจme fraรฎche in the batter. The cake was already in the oven when my husband asked about it - and then he took it out immediately and rescued it. Everything turned out fine, but I was distraught by my failure.
Today is party day! Looking forward to it and already wishing I was back at the piano at the same time.

I would like to join please. I practice every day I am home but I will have missing days as my daughter has twins(1 month old and cute as they come). I stay overnight when I visit.
