Weird glissando notation

Hello folks, does anyone understand what you're actually supposed to do in the following glissando part?
I'm including the key signature in the screenshot just in case.

On what notes should I start and end the glissando?

I would start on the G above middle C and gliss down to around the low F. Where you finish depends on the speed of your gliss. It's only a dotted crotchet long so getting the timing right is probably more important than the exact finishing note.

However the piece is in Eb, and in some contexts (a blues) a gliss on the black notes might make more sense, as the blues scale in Eb is all the black notes + A.

As documented though I think that's indicating a white note gliss.

Merry Christmas! And thanks for the explanation. I think it's a white note gliss as you suggest. Since it's an arrangement of a Japanese rock song, I have no idea how comparable it is to blues... Whatever the case, white notes seem to sound better in this section.

The end note of the glissando should be the first LH note of the next measure.

MRC That makes sense. It would mean I need to land on an AA dyad.

Easier said than done though...
