I'm excited to share this video below, which is an immersive discussion by Fanny Schmidt-Steingraeber, who is the 7th generation family, and now head of the Company!

As some may recall, I earmarked my trip in Germany May 2024 (you can read about it here), to visit Bayreuth, to their factory. And it was an experience to behold - from the pianos themselves, to the factory tour, to the Steingraeber house/palace.

In the video below, you get to hear Fanny discuss the legacy of the pianos; the production; and some cool explanations of the different parts of the house, which feels like a secret museum.

I went to their house four days in a row, and spent several nights playing their pianos with my wife. It was magical, as we did a duet, with both of us on a pair of D-232s!

This is one of the more thoughtful videos I've seen from a manufacturer. We spoke with Fanny for several hours, and she is incredibly authentic (as are their entire family).

I hope you have the time to see this video from end to end!

Nice! It's really awesome to hear from Fanny Steingraeber first hand!

She seems to be at the top of her game and just the person we need to lead the industry:

Btw, it was astonishing to hear that they have veneers from the 80's.

Steingraeber is simply at the pinnacle of piano industry. A company steeped both in tradition and innovation, and pianos that speak for themselves.
