After reading @ShiroKuro's thread about the page flipping pedal, I had to have one. I started working with it yesterday. I fancy I now know how hard it is to be a rock-n-roll drummer or a helicopter pilot, because coordinating both hands, both feet, and my eyeballs all at the same time is a new level of juggling. I'm sure once I get the hang of it, it won't actually be a problem, but I enjoy complaining. It helps shake off the nerves.

I'm bringing the pedal to my lesson. I'm considering asking my teacher to turn the pages for me using it like a game controller if I just can't succeed with it in my lesson today. 😝

I'm sure you will! Watching people, even children, play organs with not only multiple manuals for the hands but also pedals looks almost impossible, but intellectually it's obviously doable with sufficient practice for most who try to learn it. A couple extra page turning pedals in addition to a piano should in theory be a lot easier. Just try to make sure it stays put. Having a pedal unit sliding around on the floor ramps up the challenge ...

Thank you for the vote of confidence! It's got a nice anti-skid material on the bottom.

Definitely! I now am so used to using the bluetooth pedal, that when I am playing from a paper score (which I still do sometimes) my foot automatically goes to the pedal to turn the page on the paper score! 😛

But it's definitely a learning curve, so don't feel bad about that. Just like everything else, little by little!

      but I enjoy complaining.

You are in the right place!! Complain away!

Woohoo! If you can't gripe about piano things to other piano people, what's the use, right!? 😝

I also got a PageFlip Firefly. Works really well for me.

My teacher had never seen the PageFlip pedal or forScore before I came tromping into her studio. She seemed enthusiastic and also amused at the idea of having to play pedal with one foot and turn the pages with the other while playing. Shirokuro, changing lives! 😝

        Woo Hoo!! 😁
