WieWaldi Ha, ha,ha, I expect my DP is on the "garbage" list as well, along with my previous instrument, which was once referred to as a "crappio Casio" by someone on another forum! 😁 The thing is, if an instrument suits the needs of its owner, that's all that matters really.
I love beautiful pianos and I realise that certain expensive brands are well trusted for a reason, but for a hobbyist like me it seems crazy to part with big money when there are so many reasonably priced DPs that sound very pleasant to my ears. I love the fact that I can practice late at night with the volume low without disturbing anyone (I'm not keen on headphones), and the DP will never need tuning. I realise that electrical items often have built in obsolescence, so many of them break down just outside of the warranty period, but I'll live with that.
