rach3master Here's one of my favorite Gryaznov arrangements. I believe it's written well enough to stand on its own merits as a solo piano work, and not just a literal translation of the original orchestral piece. Hope you enjoy it!
twocats rach3master thank you for sharing this-- both your beautiful playing and this solo piano version of this piece! The funny thing is that I heard it on the radio just days ago and it had been a very long time since I last heard this piece. I was trying to explain what a "faun" is to my husband 😂
pseudonym58 There is a beautiful recording of the arranger himself playing this, linked at his website. You certainly do it justice as well, as it requires a particularly delicate and varied touch, and an acute sense of timing. Your performance has both!
