Whisperings Solo Piano Radio Station

Has anyone here ever submitted their recordings of originals to this radio station? I am thinking about it -but feel a bit skeptical as you have to wave your royalties. I am interested in knowing if any of you have and what you think.

I cannot find anything on their webside that says that they want you to waive your copyright.
I also don't think that the condition that you waive your royalties is a scam, because they are completely honest and transparent about it. It is a matter of take it or leave it.

As an example, Lulu started out as an on-demand print site, then they quietly slipped in a "feature" to get a free isbn. The catch was that they would now own the isbn, and the work attached to it. The North Carolina Attorney General finally stepped in and blew the lid off. Lulu is still at it, but more people now know about the scam.
I think Whisper will be exposed in the same way.

Wow, this is super interesting to me because I believe Whisperings was started by David Nevue, and I’ve been a fan of his for a long time, have communicated with him etc… He’s not someone I would ever describe as a scammer…

But waiving royalties is questionable at best.

@MusicMe what is your goal in submitting a recording?

Animisha It appears MusicMe misinterpreted the artist agreement, which can be found here:

Artists retain all copyrights; no royalties are paid by Whisperings to play the original material submitted. If the artist sells their music, Whisperings does not take a cut, so no royalty there either. It looks like Whisperings is trying to build a following of listeners, and makes money with ads, or by charging listeners a fee to remove ads. Pretty standard internet business model.

Sorry to get back so late to this post. I never said "waive my copyright" I said "waive my royalties" - as in earnings to my Performing Rights Organization. Thanks to all of you for your help. I have decided against doing this.
