Actually, there is still a lot of traffic on PW, just not in ABF.

I looked at yesterday's post count compared today and PianoTell is definitely more active, but it's a short time frame that was sampled. I'll take look again next month.

@navindra - just as a heads up, Tre over at PW reported that navigating to PianoTell gave her a warning about the site being potentially malicious:

PUP is Potentially Unwanted Program, which is quite unhelpful as classification. I've reported it but maybe more reports will help.

For Avast, I've reported it here:

It seems that early on both McAfee and Avast decided to flag PT, but I've no idea why. Since we're a small website, misclassifications probably don't matter that much to them until they get feedback.

Could be her antivirus program. Avast completely blocked the site after a month, and they ignored my reports about it. I had to dump them.

navindra I actually submitted 2 false positive reports to Avast, about 5 days apart. This was nearly 3 weeks ago. They claim they respond to all reports within 2 business days but I never heard anything back.

Minor update this month. We've comfortably hit 200+ users, 10000+ posts, 1 million+ requests[*], and launched the first recital.

This is what the bill for a full 31-day month looks like:

We haven't had any unplanned downtime since we moved to the new hosting -- we're all green at status.pianotell.com.

I'm happy with that because all-in-all, it means this friendly and precious community is totally sustainable!

Any chance you'd be willing to do a short tutorial on how you set up this forum for those of us who are less tech savvy? There aren't a ton of great tutorials out there for Flarum. I followed one on YouTube that got me set up using Docker and Portainer on a Linode server, but I can't figure out how to update Flarum to a newer version or how to install extensions.

yoshimo I'm old school, so I do all my Flarum maintenance on the command line. Flarum is managed with Composer.

If you want to avoid this, then you can do a 1-time installation of Extension Manager, then you can manage extensions via the admin interface.

Have you seen discuss.flarum.org? That's where I post all my questions about Flarum.

Another easy route is to go with FreeFlarum instead.

This is how PianoTell originally launched. Kevin has done all the hard work and installed countless number of extensions already. It'll make your life so much easier as everything is point and click.
