Pianostuff Beautiful. Did you happen to get the piano from Klavierhaus in NY?
No, This one was auctioned in England in 2019, bought by an English dealer who sold it to a German piano maker who sent me a couple of photos and I saw that this was a 'D' predecessor with three front duplex scale section and uneven bridge pins in the tenor and lower treble section. Was restored in Germany and everything, including the hammers, is still in its original state. Just a carefully shimmed soundboard, refreshed shellac surface and new strings. Still needs full regulation and voicing, so the sound isn't anywhere close to what it will finally be when my technician will have worked on voicing for a couple of days.
