Wow, so many great, fun, joyful performances, it’s hard to know where to begin! I’ll keep it short.
@Sophia & @rsl12 I’ll just chime in with what many said, a fun tune performed in a whimsical way. You have to know the cat stole the show. And a cool technical challenge to arrange the tune for duet and perform it from two different locations and merge together!
@Simonb A great tune to fire up a party! I don’t think it ill disciplined at all, it would only be so if you spilled your beer into the keyboard. I’ll have to look up any other pieces you’ve played here.
@Nightowl Chopin Nocturnes are so pretty. Nice choice and there are no easy piano arrangements for something that calls for depth of feeling for the music, which you brought forth nicely!
@KevinM Clementi! Ah, that brings back fond memories of my days taking actual lessons, which I enjoyed and this is a great piece. Long too! Very well done. I like your keyboard setup. The Blüther piano choice is perfect.
@Peyton You have a fine singing voice and you self-accompany well! Do you play for a real world audience? If not, you definitely belong on a stage in a small café.
@MarieJ Gorgeous arrangement and performed with such feeling!
@ShiroKuro Kudos! I took a look at this piece and it’s very intricate and you’ve brought out all the intricacies — in a clear and understated way. I’m envious of your pedal technique. One thing nice about those pieces that we love … we can come back to them again and again and find something new it says to us.
@thepianoplayer416 I love it when I hear a piece from that era that’s unfamiliar to me. Where did you first hear it? And you made the arrangement from orchestra score? Impressive. Nicely done.
@rogerch Very impressive. Perfect tempo (as Joplin tells us, not too fast.) I need to look at this one myself, you have a very nice legato with sparse pedaling connecting those bass leaps.
@WieWaldi Great arrangement and well played in a languid tempo. Growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast, I can just about hear the cicadas in the background and feel the heat and humidity. Been to that unairconditioned church with my grandma and used the church bulletins as a fan.
@rach3master Wow, that’s very cool and I love it when I hear something new and interesting like that. Very cinematic as is your playing! Guess I’m gonna have to find the anime. The zombies must be more attractive than I’m used to…
@Blakifer92 There are a lot of interesting sounds to chew on in this piece and its clearly challenging and you’re more than up to the challenge. Thanks for sharing this!
@navindra I love whimsical performances. And the bike riding viewpoint just draws the listener in. I wasn’t expecting the crash at the end. Does everyone know your name in the hospital? Just kidding! Very well done.
Thanks everyone, a great way to spend my Sunday morning listening to you all perform!
