I love the idea of having work by local artists, but the artwork in my piano room is (sadly? embarrassingly?) mostly generic (e.g. purchased somewhere like Target!) or reprints. But that made it (very) affordable and I like it. I’ll post some photos later. We do have some original pieces elsewhere in the house though.

I'm really not sure how much of an effect it has but it looks nice.
Sound was one of the reason I purchased the pieces I did for my piano room. I have enough on the walls (7 different pieces) that I think it makes a difference, if nothing else, the surface is not totally flat.
Who actually knows. It looks nice though. 😃
