As follow up of https://forum.pianotell.com/d/892-fun-exotic-digital-keyboards/202 thread with @iternabe, I asked myself, how open are the developers of musescore for new ideas?
I am thinking about a new input mode, where clicking into the score adds another note to an existing note with the same duration. (as it is)
But pressing the mousebutton and moving the mouse (or holding it for 0.5 sec) pops up a pie menu. Then you can drag the mouse over the item you want to place, and releasing the mouse selects it.
Everything from the outer 4 rings replaces the existing item of the score where you clicked. In the very inner circle there are a ♭ and a ♯ symbol, this adds the sharpened or flattened note of same duration to the chord. The very center shows the preview of your score (transparent section of the pie menu); if you release your mouse there, it behaves exactly like a simple click and adds a note of same duration.
If you release the mousebutton outside of the pie menu, nothing in the score changes.

In case the note is in a place, where it is aleady sharpened due to key signature (or same note within the measure was already sharpened), all ♯ are replaced by ♮ in the pie-menu:

Same with with flats - if the score is in the key of F and you enter a B, all ♭ symbols are replaced with ♮ in the pie-menu:

What do you think? Would it be intuitive or already too complicated. Is it worth to address the Musescore developer team with that idea?
