WieWaldi I have seen a movie with the title "The Transporter". Turned out, it was a popcorn action movie 🚙🚓🚓🚓🚓🚓🚓🚓🚓 At least we know that the novel wasn't by John Grisham. Otherwise it would have been titled The Tuner.
Lente In this iteration the piano tuner is a shoot'em up grafty midnight cowboy character with a Ratso Rizzo on steroids sidekick. I'd like to introduce you a 2003 book named The PIANO TUNER, by Daniel Mason. As the publisher describes, Edgar Drake is commissioned by the British War Office to travel to Burma and tune a rare piano belonging to an eccentric army surgeon. This is a subtle and complex story. Look for it in your local library or Thriftbook or Abe Books should you choose to possess it. I wonder if Joe Palooka was ever featured as a piano tuner? I'd see that movie!
