When you do an improvisation like this, have you done anything before you start and hit record? Like played through a theme or melody, either on the keyboard or in your head?
Also, do you ever consider then taking what you have here and working it into a formalized composition?
By the way, when do you register for classes at the music school you’ll be attending? (That starts in Aug/Sept right?) At my uni, incoming students generally don’t register until something like the week before classes start, because they have to get to campus and do advising etc.
Do you think you’ll take any composition courses?
That reminds me, are you going into an undergrad program or a grad program?
