I had a scheduled scan at Stanford last Friday. So I spent Thursday night in a hotel in Palo Alto.
Driving in to San Jose, I stopped at a store called Silicon Valley Piano before going to my hotel.
They have a small auditorium available for rent, containing a 7-foot C. Bechstein and a smaller Hoffmann grand.
Although I was a bit tired from the freeway driving, I rented the Bechstein and played for a while. I'd never played one before, and enjoyed the experience.
I turned my phone on to record and this was one bit on that piano.
