So this song is called "He Hits Everything and calls for some explanation. First off... it's a total ripoff (I'm calling it an "adaptation") of John Prine's song "She's My Everything". I'm a Sporting Clays Instructor at LL Bean as well as a master class competitor so, clay sports is a passion of mine. I've always thought it would be fun to write a song about clay shooting and film all of my friends and fellow instructors. It's been on the back burner for years and then I was listening to Prine's song and it hit me (no pun intended)! Off to the piano and I had this song in about 20 minutes. Of course it took days to record (all on my Yamaha GP-295 and Breedlove bass) and weeks to film but it is finished and here it be.
