The July Play It Your Way is due to be announced on May 16, so let's vote on what we will learn! The genre is Classical. The suggestions below came from the suggestion box:

Sonatina in G Major, op 36 no 2 (Clementi, Grade 4. All or any one of the three movements.)
Largo in Eb major Op post. B109 (Chopin, Grade 6)
Wiosna (Spring) Op 74 No 2 (Chopin, Grade 3)
Rhapsody on a theme by Paganini, no 18 (Rachmaninoff, grade 8, but solo transcriptions exist for lower grades)

I'm perfectly happy to play any of these, though I'd really like the Rachmaninoff to win.

Here are some solo transcriptions I found, ordered by difficulty:

Actually I'm not sure about the order between the last two. They sound very similar. @rach3master, do you have any thoughts about the difference between the Schultz version you played vs the Loveridge version?

rsl12 I'm not familiar with the Loveridge version, but it does sound very similar. Probably there are only trivial differences. I didn't even play the Schultz version exactly as written from what I remember.

I'm not going to vote but I'm happy to participate in the classical PIYW! Probably sitting out the blues one.

rach3master too bad for me, I was hoping you had checked out Loveridge and other versions before deciding on Schultz. It seems, at least on YouTube, that Loveridge is the most popular. If Rachmaninoff wins, I may ask more questions of you!

I am in the middle of a Clementi small dive and I think the Chopin would be a lovely variation on that.
