ShiroKuro So how long did it all take? Like a month?
Maybe a little longer.
I don't have a pic of my original rebuttal when I first noticed that Believe Music believed they own Debussy.
The first record I do have was April 16, when Believe denied my first rebuttal and reasserted their claim.
After that came my second rebuttal. Followed a few days later by Believe's rejection.
Youtube also gave me an email address at Believe music, to which I sent an email that received no reply.
After Believe's second rejection, Youtube gave me 7 days in which I could politely delete my video; otherwise, they would delete it for me and give my channel a "strike".
So I could do nothing else at that point other than to wait the 7 days and then have Youtube delete the video and give the strike.
Only after that could I file the "counter claim", which Youtube would review for completeness.
Their review took a day or two.
Following Youtube's review, the counter claim was sent to Believe Music. They then had 10 business days (which translated to 2 weeks) in order to put their money where there mouth was and to file a restraining order or lawsuit.
Today's email from Youtube (and restoration of my video) is obviously an indication that Believe is directing its energy at easier targets.
