Piano lessons and AI

Anybody else trying to get some help from AI with their piano lessons? Currently, I let Gemini transcribe the audio of the lesson, and from that transcription I extract all exercises and important stuff my teacher has said during the lesson. Usually, I listen through the lesson at 1.25 speed and with the help of the transcription and my memory, try to write out everything relevant. This is still a lot of work for me, also because Gemini sometimes skips some parts.

Anybody here who has a smarter solution?

I don‘t record my Zoom lessons, because I want keep to CPU load low to ensure the Zoom session goes as smooth as possible.

Once my Zoom lesson concludes, I immediately start a recording of me reviewing everything I was just taught, with some demonstration on the piano as well. For a 1 hour lesson, my review is usually about 10 minutes.

I rarely go back to my review videos, because in the process of making it, the study points become clear and memorized. I’ve thought about getting transcripts made from the review video, but so far that need has not come up. I did rewatch all of them at the end of last year, and typed them into bullet points, to help making my yearly progress video. But that‘s just that.

Iternabe, very wise habit. Unfortunately, I am wiped out after my lesson. Literally, I need to lay down. So it is not possible for me.

My teacher introduces some things that go on in music from alternate angles, esp. non-diatonic things, and in a way that is accessible. Lately I've started exploring these angles with Chat. Thus I found out that one of the things apparently is called the "hexatonic cycle" and I had written one - that name from Neo Riemannian theory. It makes me feel all clever and stuff. 😃 It will also tell me examples of composers who used these ideas, and sometimes pieces / movements.
