rsl12 Haha, ok. But be aware, this system isn't what rcv123 describes. It seems they are elminating only 1st choices in case nobody got >50%. Our problem is that we have about as many candidates as voters. Rcv123 isn't designed for that.

Your metric with 0.8n and 2 x 0.83 = 2 x 0.512 = 1.024 > 1 is interesting. But why 0.8? If you chose for instance 0.75 as basis you get a different outcome:
2x 0.753 = 2x 0.421875 = 0.84375 < 1
