I’m sorry to hear that you have a hard time playing this in public because it’s so nice here. Are you reading form the score when you play it out?
Can I ask what’s in the picture frame under the photos of your family? The musical score?
diretonic ooh this was just beautiful! So that’s a Keith Jarrett arrangement? It’s a really beautiful and lush arrangement and your playing does a wonderful job of conveying the wonder and wistfulness of the piece. Did you learn it from a score or by ear?
ShiroKuro Ok after listening to everyone else’s wonderful performances and beautiful arrangements, I was ready to dislike my submission, but listening to it again, it’s not that bad. The arrangement could be more interesting, but it was just the right level for me to throw together quickly with very little practice. I was thinking I wouldn’t play it again, but maybe I’ll keep it in my repertoire for a while. The next time I play at the shop in the mall, it might be fun to play this in the middle of a bunch of the contemporary pieces I play.
