Two days into voting, and it's a nail-biter!

I'd like to shill for an underdog. "Golden" just got an Oscar nomination for best song. Also, I think the melody might be fun to play on piano, the way it goes all over the place.

I can't support this, I find the song incredibly annoying 😆 Oh no, now it's in my head!

One of my piano teacher friends says that all of his little girl students want to play songs from K-pop Demon Hunters and they dressed up for Halloween and were super cute!

My daughter HATES K-Pop Demon Hunters, so maybe it's for the best that no one else is picking it. Still, I thought it might be a good way to attract some new members here, and I would have sacrificed my daughter's ears for that purpose.

(I enjoyed the half of the movie that I watched. Because my daughter hates it, I feel no urgency to finish.)

Three days left to vote, and it's still very close! Over the Rainbow and Moon River are tied for first place, but Send In the Clowns and Summertime are both only one vote shy.

Would anyone like to chime in?

I am not sure what I should think about this method. On the one hand I understand it, becaue those people could take one of their votes back. On the other hand, what about the people that didn't vote for either one? They could change their vote as well add one piece. But all in all I think it is too complicated - checking who is allowed to vote or not.
What about the following method: you as the host (rsl) don't vote. And if there is a tie, you must decide. In the worst case: throw a coin or roll a dice. 🎲

This is something you can't avoid all the time. Nevertheless, I understand completely why you want to play something else. Good luck

WieWaldi On the other hand, what about the people that didn't vote for either one?

Someone who votes for neither is, I assume, unlikely to participate no matter which of the two get picked, so their opinion doesn't really matter. On the other hand, someone who picks both is likely to participate no matter what the outcome. So hopefully the tune picked by this method is the one preferred by likely participants.

If there is a three-way tie, it gets complicated. I wish there were an easy way to implement ranked-choice voting. I guess I could make a spreadsheet for next time.
