MarieJ just gorgeous, Marie, truly!! Also, your piano sounds lovely (as always!) And I enjoyed your story too! This is a piece I hope to play some day as well, but I don't have a good story to back it up! So I have to ask, do you think Einaudi-esque technique helps here? Because I've always felt it would....
lilypad that way great! You are too hard on yourself! Also, Keveren always does really nice arrangements, and this is one of those.
plop_symphony lovely! And definitely danceable! I really enjoyed your musical choices for this.
rsl12 Fantastic! I always enjoy your pieces, and this one is no exception. I especially enjoyed the second half. So how much of this do you think you play the same (or mostly the same) each time, and how much do you do differently each time you play it?
Cratersmash this was wonderful! I wasn't familiar with the piece, but it's quite compelling and you play it beautifully!
turns out good things happen when I actually practice consistently. Who could’ve guessed?
That made me laugh!
rach3master Wow, what an undertaking! I think it sounds great! And it must be just a lot of fun to do!
Re "closed-back headphones" at the risk of stating the obvious, could you get open ones? I can't remember what they're called, but back when I used to have a digital, I used to use a pair of Sennheiser headphones that were open-back.
Pathbreaker that was lovely! Definitely more than "ok"! This piece is a "bucket list" piece for me,a nd your recording is inspiring!
navindra this was the perfect close to the recital! Your playing and your piano sound great! And no apologies or burning Alfred's necessary!
Congratulations everyone! This was yet another lovely recital and I'm glad to have taken part in it! 🙂
Also, @navindra 's video reminded me that this is PT's 7th recital! Wow! Time flies when you're having fun playing the piano!
🙂
