Music rest

Does anyone have a recommendation for a music rest. The music rest would be going on a flat surface 33cm deep. I'd like it to work for both my iPad Pro (possibly with a slot for usb-c cable plugged in to the iPad) and for sheet music that had room for a few pages of music?

I think I'd prefer wood since the piano desk I'm designing will be wood. But I'm not going to let that be a decision killer.

So this would sit on the table? Or clamp to it?

Will your DP be on the table as well in front of it? Does it need to raise up a bit to clear the DP?

Do you need any features such as page retainers? Place to clip a book light? Etc.?

The piano desk will have a shelf above it that will cover the rear of the digital piano. The music stand will sit on that shelf which is 33cm deep.

I'm not necessarily after page retainers. I won't need a book light.

I was thinking that I could get whoever I go with to build my piano desk to design me a music stand and build that too. But then it occurred to me that this feels like a problem that should already be solved and I went searching online without much luck.

So before going back to my original plan, I thought I'd checkin here.

Boy, I can't find anything that isn't completely hideous ... I'll keep poking around but you should definitely get a quote on a nice handmade one.

Hmm, when I search for things other than music stands, I start to get better results. Wooden table easel, cookbook stand, recipe stand, etc. Give that a shot and see if anything looks good to you.
